#88573 - Try one more.
Responding to: ???'s previous message
What is your pinout of cable RS-232 in your application ???

Is this "Null modem" (three lines) or "Full cable" (eight lines)?

Some mainboard need in Null Modem cable tree lines (RX, TX, GND) and some crosses.
You should connect in [DB 9] on PC side lines RTS to CTS
and DTR to GND and DSR to GND.
Some UARTS on Mainboard need this connection in null modem cable when it works asynchronous RX TX, with no hardware handshaking mode.
It is not a standard, but on all my systems it works good.

Just try this it very simply!!!
Darek.
