It is easy to use an oversize micro to do a project. Easier than using an unsized one. For many projects an ARM7 is oversized. Microchip's low end PIC targeted appications where an 8051 was to big.
There is Price Performance And Preipherals. If it is close why invest in new tools and emulators. Use what you have. |
