Sounds like your underlying problem may be lack of knowledge of both the processor and the language. If you don't understand either the processor or the language, you will struggle to make sense of any tools! Have you read the 8051 "bible?" Have you looked at the Tutorials on this site? Have you read a good embedded 'C' book? Have you studied the SDCC documentation? Does it include any tutorials? |
