#90523 - MCS51 core on FPGA |
I would like to have some information about 8052 core synthesis on FPGA. I have seen several free VHDL and Verilog cores mentioned in this forum (t51, oc8051 and some other). It looks like not all of them are fully useable yet. Have you ever synthesized any of them on real hardware? Could you share some information on the results obtained (speed and logic resources)? Which free 8052 core, if any, would you choose for your own projects?
I'm curious about commercial IP 8052 cores as well, for example Synopsys'. Have you ever used them on FPGAs? Thank you all! |
