Unless you have a very pressing need for a highly cutomised core i wouldnt recommend a 8052 core on a fpga,i have implemented several and about the best thing you can say is that you ca make them very specialised.speed wise they can be fast but you usualy have the hassle of placing and routing a high pin count device on your board. |
