#91593 - TOP Programmers
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Guys,
Just to introduce myself. My names Terry Potts and I run www.tcpelectronics.com and I sell the TOP range of programmers. I see that you would like to know where the manufacturer is, well they are deep in mainland China and their webpage is www.ty51.com and the site is in Chinese with hardly any english translation. I import the programmers through a wholesaler in China and believe you me, communications are very difficult. However I sell the TOP2003, TOP2005, TOP48 and TOP2048 so far and the feedback from my customers has been very good. I currently use a '2005 for eprom and pics and find it easy to use. I have written an English installation guide for the programmer and the software is in english albeit a bit strange here and there ( the odd chinese characters pop up now and then ) but I have managed to get feedback to the manufacturer and do try to help out a bit. I support the products myself and regards the adapters, there are adapters and adapters. The real cheap ones are called "simple" adapters and contain usually a production socket which will not last the course but is O.K. for occasional use. I sell quite a few "production" quality adapters for SOIC and plcc and can get any type to order. To give you an idea of price look around on the web and what adapters you see selling for £100, I sell for about £35.
If you need any info on the TOP stuff get in touch with me, I'm only too pleased to help. I also sell the programmers on Ebay under the name of teltronic123 and am proud to have 100% positive feedback to my name.
Anyway "nuff" said.!!!!!!!
