Probably the most common 5V source for general purpose 8051 boards is a "random" AC adapter, a diode or diode bridge, a 78x05 and a handful of assorted capacitors.
Now with increasing number of 3V-3.3V '51 derivatives, something similar has to be constructed many times. What is your favorite design/chip for this task? What are the experiences, caveats? Thanks, Jan Waclawek |
