The switching frequency would drift over quite long periods of time and either correlate or not with our modulation frequency The problem John describes I would not call noise, I'd call it "biting". If you modulate anything you have to keep all kinds of stuff away. Two experiences: Had to replace a local oscillaotor with a uC clock derived frequency for a chopper stabilized op-amp. Had to totally rework an OCR because the modulation was bitten by the frequency of an Am transmitter on top of the building. Erik |
