Can I call those who take up Microcontrollers for bread and butter are Professionals and those who do as hobby are Amateurs?
That is often the distinction. However some that "take up Microcontrollers for bread and butter" are bungling amateurs. I like the expression "hobbyist" better as a descriptor of those that get "bread and butter" from other sources. I have consulted on "rescuing" projects made by some that, indeed, had "Microcontrollers for bread and butter" and some of what I've seen has been worse than amateurish. Erik |
