What you really need is to generate a reset pulse when the power is restored.
Once we tried to make a circuit based on a derivator+diode taking the trailing edge from the reset generator's reset pulse + a zener to make it work only if full power is on, but it was not too reliable, especially with rapidly switching off/on of the power source. We did not have time to elaborate further on it but it was too complicated... I don't think there is any simple solution (of the "add one resistor"-style) to your problem. Jan Waclawek |
