#92806 - An Example! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Jan, I would call Ian's code an Example as would I refer to my code. The question wasn't for the smallest, tightest piece of code - my solution was more generic as it really didn't care for what port pins were used, Ian's was more direct. The idea was to address the op's question. If anything, our approaches illustrate two valid ways to solve a problem - everyone wins. I would use the term 'hack' to describe something that is not obvious or using a backdoor means of achieving a result. Aso, if someone described my code as being a 'hack', I doubt if I'd be flattered! I could be showing my age..... |
