I was never interested in this kind of stuff and personally I would solve it with a drop of super-glue ;-)
But I remember a group at the university trying to keep a model helicopter in the air autonomously and they had a bunch of transputers to accomplish that (in a rack on the ground); and they were sometimes talking about the problem as an extension to the inverted pendulum, so I thought it is really complex... OK so here you have the real task, the helicopter; or make it a plane capable of autonomous landing if you want... Jan Waclawek |
