#94383 - opamp - to - adc - to - 89C52 |
hello all,
I was wandering if any of you can help me with a question....... I plan to use an adc to convert an analouge signal and send it to am 8bit port of the 89c52. I have already coded the conversion in the 89c52. The analouge signal that I am need is the difference of two other signals (hence the opamp used as a difference amplifire). The problem is........ the difference might lead to a negative input to the adc, which i am trying to avoide. My question is.... if I supply the op amp with a single supply (positive 12V and ground), instead of +12V and -12V, will I get a 0V output instead of a negative output and will the positive output be just as accurate as if I were to use a +12V and -12V supply. If anyone knows the answer to this, please let me know. Thank you for your time sun |
