#95344 - Depressing, isn't it?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
"Btw. Donald, did you too experience problems with IAP?"

No, I decided not to waste time on it as the documentation has so many mistakes in it. I had hoped to integrate software update into my stuff without losing control to the bootloader, but I soon changed my mind.

"Do you feel this as a way how to publish this information?"

No, it's pathetic. It's just that I've kind of got used to finding information on Atmel parts by the back door. It's a shame, Temic produced excellent datasheets but Atmel seem to be totally incompetent in that department. If the quality of the code in the link I posted is anything to go by, I'm not surprised people have trouble with the IAP interface and bootloader.

I still think that the failure to publish stack usage isn't too much of a problem, the traditional technique of filling the top of the stack with a known value, making the IAP calls then checking stack high water mark should suffice.

Have you tried complaining to Atmel? Let me guess - you did, and either you heard nothing or they didn't understand the question?
