... but I really don't C so I would prefer the listing with asm included. The only thing suspicious for me is the stup of R1 followed by a bunch of things, but overall it loks good.

So I think you need to go for the usual debugging procedure - try to increase the occurence of problem, try to isolate the exact place and conditions where it fails, try to reduce the program to minimum while maintaining the error etc.
