#95757 - Contrast Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Steve,
There is no explicit information about setting of contrast in PCD8544 datasheet but they have given like this: There are 4 different Temperature Co-effs available which can be software-set. I tried one of them in the initialising routine. Datasheet says that, internally, depending upon the ambient temperature, the controller adjusts the voltage for optimum contrast level. Also, the voltage for lcd pixels is generated by the display controller using a charge-pump scheme. For that too, we have to initialise some registers. I reckon I have done all of them but still to get the display working. Vignesh. |
