How did you connect it to the 8052, using rubber pads? or metal connector.
Hi Vinod, I soldered 8 thin wires for 8 pins(you could see the color of each wire used for each pin in my program). But, as you have said, I dint apply pressure, I would like to try this. I made a project using PIC16F84 and was faced with the same problem, but when I pressed the metal connector with the glass it was working. This is what I also faced in many websites. I dont know about any other microcontroller family other than MCS51. What did you find specifically beneficial in PIC(or something else) for this application? Does it have dedicated SPI port to save you from bit-banging? Regards, Vignesh. PS: I checked the module by putting on a Nokia 3315 phone and the display is perfect. So, I thought the problem may be in my program. Could you please tell me the algorithm you adopted in your earlier design? Or did you do what the datasheet says? |
