#96115 - Garage Door\gate frequency generation?
Hi,

I happen to live in an apartment complex that is gated and we use a little push button device to open the gate. Unfortunatly, the apartment complex won't issue more than one, but we have 3 cars. Also the range on this thing is horrible!

This calls for a embedded 8051 project!

I've been searching around on the internet to no avail. Basically, I'm looking for any real technical information about "the signal". Is it just a really basic emitted frequency? Clonable? Etc.

Any advice? Links that might assist me?

Thanks,
Tomas
