#96162 - OT - but relevant.
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I have an RF based TV remote extender (no; not one of those things that the spammers try to sell me). The transmitter (RF section) uses a module that looks like a 'half-height' TO5 can marked: 'S+M', 'R643', and 'KB/FN'. I've googled on all combinations with no results. Also tried CipDocs and Datasheet Locator.

I guess it's a 433Mhz module to fit the UK's license-free band (I can find 'carriers' at 418.05 and 440.725 on a receiver - clearly NOT 10.7MHz IF then - and not a very accurate frequency control - tuned with an external trimmer cap).

Anyone recognise the device?

Dave
