#9689 - scale accuracy of 1/10th of an ounce
Hi,

I have to use a 10 bit 8 channel internal adc for a weighing scale. Is it possible for me to have an accuracy of +/-1/10th of an oz(app.+/- 3 grams) with a 10bit ADC. I think I may have problems in the low end weights. Is it possible for me to overcome those by switching the reference voltage? Please give me suggestions. I can use only the 10bit ADC. No provision to add an external ADC. Please let me know what best I can do to achieve accuracy.

Thanks in advance.
