#97929 - PNP
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I think the preference to PNP so the LED is initially off when the microprocessor powers up. I am only driving one LED and my 89C2051 will sink 20 ma. I have not had any problems but was wondering why using a transistor was suggested in the past, I now see it would be required if driving multiple LEDs.

Thanks for the replies.
