I fail to see how this is faster than just moving the low and high bits to P0 and P2 directly and strobing another pin yourself (bitbang) with the external memory interface disabled. The most time will be spent getting the new data I imagine. Only if you sweep the output using INC DPTR I expect to see any real speed improvement. |
