I think the marking has Intel roots
In the "good old days" there was some "rules" to the numbers and '31' was without code memory. Soon, some manufacturers released '51s without code memory "because the customers did not ask for 31". At least thet was the answer I go when I saw the first '51 without code memory and asked "why do you screw up the numbers" Erik |
