Think of the speed with which you need to change the PWM output, as a function of the PWM frequency, and think how long the filter has to act on that before you change duty cycles. When I did it, I used 8 channel 8 bit DACS, arranged as a kind of analogue computer. I could get 255 points per frame at 25 frames/second, with image rotation, scale and translation. Steve |
