#100339 - stuck in a rut as so amny before you, wh Responding to: ???'s previous message |
With you processor running at at only 11MHz, you might need to consider whether it will have time to actually do anything with each received character before the next arrives at 115200 baud...
stuck in a rut as so amny before you, why do you insist on doing this with a klunky old 12 MHz 12 clocker? Steve stated "you need speed for the mirrors", Andy states "you need speed for the serial" and you just keep chugging along "I have an old 12 clocker which I will use" I can not count the times we have been here before with other threads. If you want to do this, you need a suitable processor Look at the SILabs 8051F12x series, that should suffice. Erik |
