He means neither, the 1232 WILL issue a reset periodically if the watchdog is not fed. There is no way the ISP code can feed an external watchdog, how can someone like e.g. Andy Ayre anticipate which pin you connect the puppy tickler to. However, some of the better ISP code will take care of an internal watchdog. Erik |
