#100735 - DS1232 ISP Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi guys i will tell you exactly how i have connected the ds1232.I have TD pin going to vcc, Tol and Gnd pins are both grounded. PBRST pin is connected to one side of a push button and the other side goes to ground. Rst pin goes to the reset pin on 8051. Ale goes to St pin and the Not Rst pin is not connected. But i found a pretty big mistake.I have used a normally closed push button so the 8051 was in constant reset loop. I worked it out when all ports which normally go high on reset were always high. So i checked the output of the reset chip and it was constantly putting out a constant reset signal. |
