#100753 - oh those datasheets

The reset pin on these chips is bidirectional and function as an output when e.g. the internal watchdog bites.

Last time you mentioned the reset output possibility on certain Philips '51s I browsed through the LPC documentation and had a look also to the P89C/V51Rx2 datasheets and seen nothing.
Now I had a CLOSER look to the P89C51Rx2 datasheet and - voila, there it is. They have not a single mention of it in the RESET and PINNING section. It is mentioned in the WatchDog section, though...
There is also no mention of the output current capability of this pin in the parameters section, so one can make no guess on how to wire it properly...

These datasheets (and documentation generally) just are a pain to get them perfect, aren't they? :-)

Btw. in the P89V51Rx2 datasheet, there is no mentioning of reset output capability...
