#101044 - communication between multiple 89C51's
Hello Friends,

I have been investigating the rs485 protocol for communication between 5 at89C51's. I have not found much information except the data sheets for the rs485 transceivers.

I have a few questions for the pros out there:

1. Does anybody know where I may find some sample source code that I may learn from? I also would like to know where to find a schematic of a similar layout. It does not have to include 4 microcontrollers, two is fine.

2. Any information, links, websites, etc that I may visit to learn from?

3. Forgive me, this may sound like a stupid question, but would the software routines for rs485 use the same uart routines in the 89C51, and just add a rs485 transceiver? I can't find any info on this on the internet.

I am just learning, so please bear with my silly questions.
Thanks,
Charles
