I disagree. You are far better off with the one you know than with trying to master another. The "little tricks", which it takes years to learn are, in my opinion, is much more productivity enhancing than what a noiminally better package you do not know. In the initial stage where you are not familiar with any program, that is the time to try a bunch to see which one feels right, but once you have gained years of experience with a given package (whatever it is, CAD is just one example) stick to it unless there is enourmous, major, significant advantages to switching.
