#103042 - Is that not the "most useful" approach ? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I find that programs like Hyperterminal (or better still Tera Term Pro) are most useful when trying to identify if a problem is in the device/hardware or FlashMagic
well, Andy is very helpful and FM has a debug mode. I have seen numerous posts from Andy "run it in debug mode and send me ther report" Is that not the "most useful" approach ? Yes, the hex records for the 89LPC9xx devices need to be page aligned. But not all compilers (any?) have an option to produce records aligned to an arbitary page size. which FlashMagic automatically does. Why cut a tree with a knife when an axe is available? One use of Hyperterminal or similar, that is useful is to check the response to the autobaud "U". I will give you that. Erik |
