Dont have the means to try this yet, but, going from memory...
Hyper terminal most basic function is to type in ASCII text to screen, then transmit when you hit the ENTER key. Did you do that? If you are set up to echo (from your uC), you should see text on screen after you transmit. Again, it's been a while since I have done this, and I usually use Labview for this sort of thing. I'll have to check out this Bray terminal, as Jan is correct that hyperterminal basically sucks. I have a SILABS ETHERNET DEV (along with non ethernet stuff) kit coming soon so I can try out a few things like this myself (again). Good luck Andy |
