 		 #113550 - Interfacing 16550 to 80c51
Hi Community,
i am new to all this stuff (8051)... a need to creat an Serial- Communitcation with the following options :

9600 Baud
7-Bit
None Parity

and here is my problem ... i am using an P89c668 this CPU doesn't support 7-Bit without parity... So i will try to creat something like an "converter"...
I will recive the date with the 16550 for NS and read it out Parallel.
My first question is ... .will this work ?
And how to interface the 16550-....
Does someone create a project like this ?
