#114014 - Here's a thought ...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
What might be intersting would be to make a complete solution to each of these problems avaiable as a canned response to such questions, but with a somewhat obscured message built into each bit of code, such that when the student who thinks he's got a "free" solution hands it in, it will be obvious to an instructor where it originated and under what circumstances it was obtained. It shouldn't be completely obscured, but it should take a bit of thorough study to find the code that, say, prints a message such as, "obtained with zero effort from 8052.COM" on a display, if it's a display driver, or prints a similar message to the console.

Maybe that's overkill, but the preponderance of such messages as the subject one tend to appear only once from a given O/P. They generally don't come back, simply because they have to turn in the work they didn't do the next day and that's where their interest stops.

Asking a few probing questions might make homework questions go away.
