No, because you couldn't tell...
You can, once your decompression/decryption algorithm produces garbage instead of the message you were expecting. :) A perfectly encrypted/compressed message will look like meaningless random garbage to anyone who does not know how to decrypt/decompress it, despite being all information. It does have meaning to someone who knows what to do with it. |
