Yes cost is not required to be considered if low volume. We always see that the process(Manufactuing) to a new design is optimum. Any unwanted process in the production is going to cost
time and money.

We always hear from our superiors that if you delay a project or a solution to a field issue, then the loss is enormous in terms of reputation, loss of money, time etc.
