no, erm yes. You can or can not write code to "internal memory" depending on what you mean.

The P89V51rd2 has internal RAM, IRAM ERAM and flash. You can write "firmware" to the interanl flash using FlashMagic. You can write data to all (data to flash is a bit tricky)
