#121379 - comments on this stepper link please |
Hello Guys,
Sometime ago I started a thread in this forum about controlling a stepper motor with AT89S8252, and I was unable to achieve higher rpm http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=118284 After pulling many hairs from my head, I tried to seek some professional advice and found this link on web http://www.elec.reading.ac.uk/people/J....F/step.pdf I also spoke to this gentlman and was told that the way I am trying to control motor (step delay step delay logic) is disaster and I won't get anywhere with this, I was told that I should read this above link in detail and this will give an idea of how to control motor. I have read that document atleast 10 times but it is still not clear to me. Could someone please give me some idea of what he is talking about, offcourse I don't expect you to read all of this I am only interested in page 86-88, specially page 88, how can I avoid the first two break points on the curve?? and what is the other way of controlling the stepper motor if I am not using step delay step step delay kind of logic?? Please advice I would be much obliged on this favor. regards James |
