#121614 - sometimes it takes thought, pencil and paper to wo Responding to: ???'s previous message |
also I was told that I can not increase steps by big numbers like for example if I start at 10 steps per seconds I have to increase it like
11 12 13 14 15 steps per second and so on which to me does not make sense because I was thinking that I could start at 10 steps per second and then increase to probably 50 steps /sec after few seconds and then 100 to get to higher rpm quickly. Is this approach wrong? sometimes it takes thought, pencil and paper to work something out TRY IT what is the problem rough numbers 1 step at 10 100ms 1 step at 11 90ms 1 step at 12 90ms 1 step at 13 80ms 1 step at 14 80ms 1 step at 15 70ms 1 step at 16 70ms 1 step at 17 70ms 1 step at 18 60ms 1 step at 19 60ms 1 step at 20 50ms so 10-20 ~.8 sec 20-40 ~ .8 sec (twice the steps 1/2 the time per step) 40-80 ~ .8 sec that is 10-80 in 2.5 sec which does not make "50 steps /sec after few seconds" a problem Erik |
