I was thinking more of jumping from 10 steps per seconds to 50 steps per second straight away and from after few seconds I meant that lets suppose you run motor at 10 step per second for 5 seconds and then jump to 50 steps per second in sixth second. run it for 5 seconds and jump to 100 steps in sixth second. is this approach ok?
