Are these just motor resonances ?
Steve Yes I think so, how can I avoid these resonances and start at appropriate speed, also I was told that I can not increase steps by big numbers like for example if I start at 10 steps per seconds I have to increase it like 11 12 13 14 15 steps per second and so on which to me does not make sense because I was thinking that I could start at 10 steps per second and then increase to probably 50 steps /sec after few seconds and then 100 to get to higher rpm quickly. Is this approach wrong? One way of controlling stepper motor steps is to send clock signal from micro. in chopper drive. is there any other way of controlling the steps (making the motor to run) without actually sending clock pulses from microcontroller? please advice regards James |
