Let me translate:

"MY" code in "MY Choice of Programming Languge" makes perfect sense to "ME".

translates to:

I am so smart and my languge is so great it is a new paradigm.

translates to:

I am too lazy / busy to write comments. And, posibly not smart / experienced enough to know why I need them.



I was handed some self documenting ASM to port once.

Me : there are no comments
Boss : Yes there are
Me (with listing): No there isn't
Boss : Then it's self explanitory.
Me : ????? OK?
