He gave us the opertunity show we had a better way. Why accept spagetti.
some of the worst 'spaghetti' I have seen has been due to 'global variable avoidance'. I recall a case where a variable was carried unchanges through 7 levels of functions before it was used. Such code is in desperate need of tomato sauce.
