My guess is that you have written to the ISP area of the flash. You (I believe self admitted) clearly are a novice and thus do not have your "pilots license" (experience). Thus I recommend that till you get that you stay away fron attempting to write the program flash, since that - besides blatant miswires - is the only way you acn 'lose' the sh.. eh chip. I do not see any way we, through a forum, can make the process safe. We can, as Jan? posted give general advice (disable interrupts, stay away from low memory ...) but guarantee that you will not lose more chips - that we can not do. If you are 'experimenting' set this aside for a while, if you are assigned this as a task in your job, attach a serial EEPROM. Erik |
