I said you that John D.Maniraj's code is not for P89V51RD2!!!

1. P89C51RD2 needs oscillator frequency for IAP. P89V51RD2 does not.

2. P89C51RD2 does not have FCF register. You do need to set it for P89V51RD2. On the other hand, you don't need to set AUXR1 for P89V51RD2.

3. SoftICE is a built-in (core-only-type) monitor, enabling to debug (single step, trace, view memories, modify) in cooperation with Keil's uVision. Don't touch that flag. If you set it by mistake, then the micro stops responding to FlashMagic. In that case, see my webpage for unsoftice.
