Hi Erik,
I just hate the I2C monniker, it is so much more cumbersome, do you remember when a group of morons tried to rename TTL T2L? Aside from being more cumbersome, it is wrong. In the general case, I2 = I + I, not II. I2 = II only in the fortuitously unique case that I = 2. This is, of course, predicated on the dismissal of any Roman numeral implications.
