It is unlikely, but does it happens to conflict with debug monitor?

Usually, the debug monitor is configured to UART1 (sio1), but it is assigned to UART0 to debug GPIF. When GPIF is enabled on PortB, TXD1/RXD1 is hidden. So, UART0 is assigned to debug monitor.

Which COM port, SIO-0 or SIO-1, do you connect the serial cable?
