#129766 - licence
Responding to: ???'s previous message

'you are no longer entitled to upgrades or support - without payment of a further fee. :-('

I'm not asking for upgrades or support, I just want the convenience of using the software on XP, however if I cant have that, I'm going to resurrect a W98 system. Once my annual fee expires I dont consider that I shouldnt use the software again!!!
As I've said before - I cant afford to pay twice for something I only use occasionally. Thats my main point - everyone starts talking about licensing, piracy and theft -
what on earth are you all on about?

PS I've changed my hard drive for a larger one, and various other peripherals, and I've had no trouble with 'Activation' on XP. Even
Bill Gates allows you to use a 5 1/4" floppy should you wish to.
Most of the software written for W95 will still run OK on XP - what we're talking about is the dongle itself - which is not part of the operating software that I originally purchased.

Hope thats the end of my **simple query** !!
Chris
