I use also V5.02 under Windows 2000 and XP without any problems.

As suggested above, try a parallel port driver.

And start the compiler in a DOS-box to see the error messages.

Without the error message nobody can help you !


Many companies, which use older software tried another approach:

On the years, where Windows NT was introduced, dongles works no longer and the software companies gives out no solution instantly.

So some other companies offers the service to make software running again under Windows by removing the dongle access. This was legal at this time.

But today such service is no longer available.
