At least one member of the forum would not be able to use this -
see http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=132474

You have failed to state what assembler is required to
translated this source code!

Where you rely upon tool-specific features - which is (almost)
inevitable in assembler - you must clearly state which tool is
required!

Hello Andy,

The problem he (http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=132474)
is having is common to assembly language programming which best
get solved thru trail and error on the user part.

The member in question is talking about another program anyway.
I don't see how you relate it to my program. I think you are
angry with me for drawing attention to a mistake you made in
another thread and you want to discredit me.

The assembler used is A51.EXE. It is public domain software that
has been around for over 15 years.

I think you have asked about this program (A51.EXE) before so I
think you knew the answer to this before you asked the question.
I remember you asked if there was any documentation for this
program which I uploaded to the Internet.

As to I must clearly state which tool is required I think you
need to understand I don't have to do that! I would certainly do
it if asked. I think it is good policy to include that
information. Next time I will include that information.

Regards,

Charles Bannister
